Professor Dr. Mohammad Shahidullah has been elected president of the Child Health Foundation, Bangladesh, for the 2025–26 term. The announcement was made following a recent election, as stated in a press release issued by the organization.
The Child Health Foundation, founded by the late National Professor Dr. MR Khan, is dedicated to pediatric healthcare and social welfare.
The newly elected executive committee includes Obaidul Kabir Khan as treasurer, Dr. Mandy Karim, Sheikh Moazzem Hossain, and Sakina Khan as vice presidents, Reza Karim as general secretary, Senior Consultant Dr. AKM Shamsuzzaman as joint general secretary, Md. Shamsuzzaman as organizing secretary, and Dr. Suman Chowdhury as cultural and publicity secretary.
Additionally, Dr. MA Jalil, Professor Dr. Shah Mahfuzur Rahman, and Professor Dr. Ehsan Kadir have been appointed as executive members.
Dr. Mandy Karim and Reza Karim, who will serve as vice president and general secretary, respectively, are the daughter and son-in-law of the foundation's founder, the late Dr. MR Khan.
The foundation has called upon the public for their prayers and support to ensure the success of the newly elected committee and its initiatives in pediatric healthcare and social welfare.
