The interim government is set to issue an Interpol Red Notice to bring back ousted prime minister and Awami League chief Sheikh Hasina, along with other fugitives, as announced by Law Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul.
Speaking to journalists on Sunday morning (10 November), Dr Asif Nazrul disclosed, "All arrangements are in place. Now, it is just a matter of receiving the government’s decision to proceed with issuing a Red Notice through Interpol for Sheikh Hasina and other fugitives."
Addressing concerns raised by the Awami League at the International Criminal Court (ICC), he stated that the government is disregarding such allegations.
He remarked, "The Awami League's allegations lodged with the ICC are aimed at tarnishing the country's reputation. There is no justification for these complaints to be accepted."
