Ten more deaths due to dengue were reported in the 24 hours leading up to Saturday morning, raising the total fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease in Bangladesh to 310 this year.
During the same period, a total of 966 patients were hospitalised with viral fever, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
A total of 1,705 deaths were recorded in the last year, making it the deadliest year on record.
