Former CEC, Kazi Habibul Awal has described the twelfth parliamentary election as a one-sided affair due to the lack of competition from any political party

The recently former Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), Kazi Habibul Awal has characterised the twelfth parliamentary election as a one-sided contest, citing the absence of opposition from any political party. 

During a press briefing held at 12pm on Thursday (5 September), at the Agargaon Election Commission office, Awal commented on the election's lack of competitive spirit.

His remarks came following the resignation of the EC.
