Toll Plaza of Mayor Hanif Flyover at Kajla of Jatrabari has been torched by miscreants around 10 pm on Wednesday (17 July).
Traffic on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway has been halted due to the fire incident.
A fire service vehicle reached the scene but could not start extinguishing work as they could not take control of the place.
Meanwhile, quota protesting students clashed with the police in Jatrabari area of the capital.
As of filing of this report at around 10:30 pm on Wednesday, the clash is going on.
