Pacer Mustafizur Rahman became the first Bangladeshi bowler to claim six wickets in a T20 International game as Bangladesh restricted USA to 104-9 in the third and final game of the series today at Prairie View Cricket Complex in Huston, Texas.
In a bid to avoid the ignominious whitewash following the shock defeat in the first two matches, Mustafizur led the bowing with six wickets for just nine runs in four overs.
Bangladesh put USA into bat first but the hosts which rested their four first choice players including the captain Monank Patel made fluent start thanks to Andries Gous.
Once Shakib Al Hasan broke through, dismissing Gous for 15 ball-27, Mustafizur ripped through USA in an exceptional bowing effort.
Gous however was the top-scorer for USA eventually. Shayan Jahangir and Corey Anderson made 18 runs each.
