Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has strongly condemned the brutal murder of a lawyer in Chattogram and ordered an immediate investigation into the incident. He called for a thorough legal response to bring those responsible to justice.
In a press statement issued on Tuesday, the Chief Adviser urged the public to remain calm and avoid engaging in any disruptive activities following the killing.
He also instructed law enforcement agencies to increase security in Chattogram, particularly in vulnerable neighborhoods, to maintain order.
“The Interim Government is fully committed to preserving communal harmony and ensuring peace in Bangladesh at all costs,” said Professor Yunus in the statement.
