The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has initiated an inquiry into the illicit wealth of former Vice-Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University (BDU), Munaz Ahmed Noor, former Member of Parliament for Dhaka-13, Sadek Khan, and Golam Faruq Khondoker Prince, the former MP for Pabna-5.

The decision was made on Sunday (15 September), said a notification.

ACC Deputy Director Md Akhtarul Islam confirmed the matter, stating that the decision to investigate followed preliminary evidence gathered by the ACC’s intelligence unit, which suggested the allegations against them held some truth.
