Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Tuesday congratulated the Bangladesh Blind Cricket Team for securing the runners-up position in the T20 Blind Cricket World Cup held from November 21 to December 3 in Pakistan.
In a message to the team, the Chief Adviser expressed that the entire nation takes pride in their achievement, according to a press release.
Bangladesh lost to host Pakistan by 10 wickets in the final match held in Multan on Tuesday. Six countries—Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan—participated in the fourth edition of the tournament, which took place in Lahore and Multan.
Bangladesh also finished as runners-up in the previous edition of the tournament held in India in 2022.
