As part of the reshuffle in the Bangladesh Police, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has transferred 11 deputy commissioners (DCs).
An office order, signed by DMP Commissioner Md Mainul Hasan, was issued in this regard on Wednesday (4 September) evening.
According to the order, Mohammad Osman Goni has been reassigned to the Logistics Division, while Mohammad Taherul Haque Chowdhury to the DMP Headquarters and Administration Division.
Khandaker Md Shamim Hossain was sent to the Detective Ramna Division and he will also hold additional duties in the Detective Motijheel Division.
Md Saleh Uddin has been appointed to the Wari Division, and Md Ziaul Ahsan Talukdar will be stationed at the DMP Headquarters.
Md Sarwar Jahan will oversee the Ramna Division. Md Makhsudur Rahman is set to lead the Mirpur Division and Md Mizanur Rahman will take charge of the Detective Tejgaon Division and also handle extra responsibilities in the Mirpur Division.
Md Nazrul Islam has been moved to the Prosecution Division and Md Rezaul Karim will oversee both the Detective Wari Division and the Laldighi Division. Tahmina Takiya will join the Estate Division.
These changes are part of the DMP's strategy to enhance its operational efficiency, the order mentioned.
