After assuming his office on Sunday, Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed has formed eight benches in the High Court Division to operate judicial functions on a limited scale.

Among the benches, five are division benches, while three are single-judge benches.

As per the directive, the following benches will run the limited judicial functions of the High Court Division.

On 4 August, the judicial proceedings of both divisions of the Supreme Court were declared closed for an indefinite period due to violent incidents during the quota reform movement.
