The country is likely to experience rain or thunder showers at one or two places over Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal & Sylhet divisions, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
Meanwhile, the skies over Dhaka remain cloudy, with foggy weather persisting since the morning.
As of the filing of this report at 11am Tuesday, the sun has not been sighted in the capital.
The met office states in its forcast for Tuesday that the weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
Also, the night temperature may rise by (1-2)°C and day temperature may fall slightly over the country.
It may also rain in a few places over Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions on Wednesday, the met office forecast added.
