There will be no weather warnings in effect for the country’s inland river ports until 1pm on Sunday (28 April), according to the latest advisory from the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
No signals are required to be displayed at any river port during this period.
However, the skies over Dhaka are expected to be partially cloudy, with dry conditions likely to prevail. A slight rise in daytime temperatures is anticipated.
Winds may blow from the south to south-west at speeds of 10 to 15 kilometres per hour.
At 6am this morning, the air temperature was recorded at 28.2 degrees Celsius with humidity at 8 percent. Sunset in Dhaka today is expected at 6:26pm, while sunrise tomorrow, Monday, is forecast for 5:27am.
