Axentec PLC has entered into a strategic partnership with the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) to provide advance connectivity solutions in the country’s aviation sector.
The agreement was signed recently in the presence of senior officials from both organisations, marking a significant step toward improving operational efficiency and passenger experiences through technology, reads a press release.
The partnership aims to leverage Axentec's expertise in information and communication technology (ICT) to bolster CAAB's operational capabilities and technological infrastructure. This collaboration is expected to play a vital role in making Bangladesh’s aviation sector smarter and more efficient, supporting CAAB’s vision of developing world-class aviation infrastructure.
Key attendees at the signing ceremony included Air Vice Marshal Md. Manjur Kabir Bhuiyan, Chairman of CAAB; Air Commodore Abu Said Mehbub Khan, Member (Operations and Planning); Air Commodore AKM Ziaul Haque, Member (ATM); SM Lablur Rahman, Member (Finance); Group Captain Md. Mukit-ul-Alam Mia, Member (Flight Standards and Regulation); and other senior officials from CAAB.
Representing Axentec PLC were Md. Adil Hossain, Managing Director and CEO; AKM Nazmul Islam, Chief Commercial Officer; Md. Asaduzzaman, Corporate Head; Khondker Mosabber Hossain, General Manager of Corporate Business; and Muhammad Jasim Uddin, Senior Manager of Corporate Business.
