Officials from the administration cadre, comprising both retired and serving personnel, have demanded the resignation of Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury, Head of the Public Administration Reform Commission, within the next 48 hours.
The demand was made during a protest meeting held at the BIAM auditorium in the capital on Wednesday (25 December).
Zakir Hossain Kamal, a retired official of the administration cadre, raised the call for Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury's resignation during the meeting. His demand was supported by other officials present at the gathering.
