Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has extended congratulations to Donald Trump on his re-election as President of the United States.

According to a report from the BBC on Wednesday (6 November), world leaders began to congratulate Trump following his self-declaration of victory, despite the lack of an official confirmation at that stage.

In a message directed at Trump, Netanyahu remarked, "Congratulations on achieving one of history’s greatest comebacks. Your return to the White House will further strengthen the relationship between Israel and the United States."

Adding to his remarks, Netanyahu stated, "This victory is immense. Congratulations."

Beyond Netanyahu, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer also offered his congratulations, expressing eagerness to work alongside Trump.

Similarly, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán conveyed his felicitations to the American leader.

Republican candidate Donald Trump described the outcome as a "stunning victory" during a press conference held in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Trump declared, "This will be America’s golden era."

He continued, describing his success as a momentous win for the American people, which he believes will contribute significantly to making America "great once again."

Although he has not yet secured the requisite Electoral College votes, Trump announced his triumph, needing just four more Electoral College votes to reach the critical threshold of 270.

Referring to his win as a "political victory," Trump extended his gratitude to the voters who made him the 47th President of the United States.

His statement ignited fervent chants of “America, America, America” from the crowd gathered in Palm Beach.

Joining Trump during his address were his wife, Melania Trump, and his Vice Presidential candidate, JD Vance.

At one point in his speech, Trump took a moment to thank his voters and his wife, Melania.
