Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) has abolished all of its committees including the national executive body.
Spokesperson and Presidium Member of the Party Mahi B Chowdhury made the announcement at the day-long special meeting of national executive committee at capital’s Baridhara club here today.
After abolishing the executive committee, a decision was taken to make a national committee with maximum 51 to 71 members.
In the committee, the current President Professor AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury will serve as President and Secretary General Major (Retd) Abdul Mannan as the Executive President.
B Chowdhury said, “Bikalpa Dhara will be a single unit party. It will have no affiliated organizations. The party needs to reorganize based on the spirit of the student-led mass upsurge”, said
The party is committed to provide all out cooperation to Dr Muhammad Yunus led interim government, he added.
