The Ministry of Public Administration has dismissed reports claiming that the maximum age limit for entry into government jobs will be raised to 35 years. Senior Secretary Dr. Md. Mokhlesur Rahman called these reports "rumors" during a press conference held at the Secretariat on Sunday.

Addressing the media, Dr. Mokhlesur Rahman advised the public to ignore such misleading information. When asked by a journalist about the widespread reports on raising the government job entry age, the Senior Secretary firmly replied, "I have only one answer: do not believe in rumors."

The journalist further inquired if there were any plans to change the age limit. The secretary reiterated, "As I said, it's a rumor. If I say that, it means there are no such plans."

For years, some job seekers have been protesting, demanding the government raise the maximum entry age to 35. However, the ministry has made no announcements regarding any changes to the current policy.
