Police have arrested former railways minister Nurul Islam Sujan from Shayamoli area in the capital on Monday (16 September) evening.
Assistant Commissioner (AC) Masudur Rahman of Mohammadpur Zone of Tejgaon Division of DMP confirmed the matter of arrest around 11:15 pm.
He said that Jatrabari police arrested former railways minister from Bangladesh Specialised Hospital located under Adabar police station.
Sujan is the accused in a case filed with Jatrabari police station, he added.
