The price of gold in the domestic market has been raised once again, with the cost of 22-carat gold increasing by Tk2,099 per bhori (11.664 grammes), now standing at Tk1,44,890.
Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) announced the price adjustment through a press release signed by Masudur Rahman, chairman of its Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring, on Saturday (1 February)
According to BAJUS, the new rates will come into effect from Sunday (2 February)
This latest price hike follows a previous increase on 29 January, which was implemented from 30 January.
