The National Board of Revenue (NRB) Chairman Abdur Rahman Khan has said that taxpayers will now be able to submit their returns online throughout the year.
This announcement was made during a discussion marking International Customs Day at the NRB headquarters on Sunday (26 January)
Speaking at the event, Khan also highlighted that those who fail to submit their returns within the stipulated timeframe will be subject to a 2% monthly interest on any outstanding taxes.
This move aims to facilitate the ease of filing tax returns for the public while also ensuring timely payment of dues.
