Robi Axiata Limited, Bangladesh’s leading 4G network provider, has introduced innovative initiatives to enhance accessibility for customers with disabilities, aiming to create a more inclusive service experience nationwide.

One key feature is a dedicated video chat service on Robi’s website, tailored specifically for customers with speech and hearing impairments. This service connects users with sign language-trained agents, offering essential support from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, accessible from anywhere in Bangladesh.

For customers with low vision, Robi has introduced options on its website to adjust font sizes and color contrasts, enabling easier navigation and improved user comfort.

Additionally, Robi is expanding its in-home service support for customers with physical disabilities who may face challenges in visiting service centers. These customers can request assistance by calling 01688888822 or 121, and support will be provided directly to their homes. Currently, this service is available in Dhaka, Gazipur, Savar, Narayanganj, Keraniganj, Khatunganj, Mymensingh, Narsingdi, Chattogram, Khulna, Rajshahi, and Barishal. Robi also offers dedicated services for physically challenged customers at 105 Robi Centers across the country.

Rajeev Sethi, Managing Director and CEO of Robi Axiata, stated, “We recognize that customers with disabilities, especially those outside the capital, often face barriers in accessing essential services. Our aim is to ensure that physical limitations do not prevent any customer from receiving the support they need. We believe these initiatives will greatly benefit customers with disabilities throughout Bangladesh."
