The High Court has ruled that only individuals with MBBS or BDS degrees are entitled to use the title "Doctor" before their names, barring diploma holders from doing so.

The verdict was delivered on Wednesday (12 March), reinforcing that those who possess only diploma certifications are not permitted to use the designation.

Furthermore, the court has warned that from Thursday (13 March), legal measures will be taken against any individuals violating this directive.
