At least 5 people have tragically lost their lives and 2 others have sustained injuries following a collision between a train and a microbus in Faridpur.
The accident took place at the Gerda Railway Crossing in the Munshibazar area of Faridpur's Sadar Upazila at around 12pm on Tuesday (7 January)
Upon receiving the news, the Faridpur Fire Service and local police, with the assistance of nearby residents, have launched a rescue operation to retrieve the victims.
