The first phase of the 44th BCS oral exam will start on 5 January and continue until 5 February.
A total of 1,890 candidates will take part in the viva-voce exams to be held at the PSC head office in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar of Agargaon in the capital.
The schedule was announced in a notification signed by Dilawej Durdana, the Controller of Examinations (Cadre) of the Public Service Commission (PSC) on Tuesday night.
The date and schedule of the oral exam for the remaining candidates will be announced later, said the notification.
