The total number of fatalities from the dengue crossed 550 this year as two more patients died of the mosquito-borne disease in the last 24 hours till Tuesday morning.
At the same time, the total number of dengue cases rose to 99,295 with 311 new dengue patients, said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
A total of 1,533 dengue patients are now undergoing treatment at diffident hospitals across the country.
However, a total of 97,211 patients have been released from hospitals till Monday.
Last year, the country recorded 1,705 dengue-related deaths and a total of 3,21,179 dengue cases.
