As autumn bids farewell, Tetulia, the northernmost district of Panchagarh, has recorded the country’s lowest temperature of the season at 8.4°C.
This marks the lowest temperature so far this year, with a mild cold wave already sweeping across the region, famously referred to as the “daughter of the Himalayas.”
Despite the chill, the sunny morning brought some respite to the daily lives of residents.
According to Tetulia Weather Observatory, the nation’s lowest temperature of 8.4°C was recorded on Friday (13 December) at 9am.
The humidity in the air was reported at 99%, with wind speeds ranging between 6 to 7 kilometres per hour.
Yesterday, Thursday, the minimum temperature in Tetulia stood at 12.6°C at 9am, while the maximum temperature reached 24.8°C at 3pm.
However, the lowest temperature nationwide on that day was recorded at 10.2°C in Gopalganj and Chuadanga.
