A clash erupted between students of Dhaka College and City College this Wednesday (20 November), shortly after 3pm, causing a complete halt to traffic in the Science Lab area of the capital.

According to reports, the incident began when Dhaka College students vandalised a bus in the vicinity of the Science Lab.

In retaliation, students from City College engaged in a confrontation with their counterparts, escalating tensions between the two groups.

The altercation created significant unrest among the students and brought vehicular movement in the area to a standstill.

Police promptly arrived at the scene and attempted to bring the situation under control, although tensions remain high at the time of reporting.

Authorities from both Dhaka College and City College have yet to issue official statements regarding the incident, while police investigations are ongoing.
