Three High Court judges have resigned from their respective positions.
They have been kept away from judicial functions for around five years.
The three are Justice Salma Masud Chowdhury, Justice Quazi Reza-Ul-Hoque and Justice AKM Zahirul Hoque.
To this effect, Law Secretary Sheikh Abu Taher issued a gazette notification on Tuesday.
The judges submitted their resignation letters were accepted by the President.
The three judges signed resignation letters addressed to the president in line with article 96(4) of the constitution, said the notification.
