The High Court has directed that a high-powered task force, consisting of experienced personnel from various agencies, be formed to complete the investigation into the murder case of journalists Sagar Sarowar and Meherun Runi within six months.
The full order was issued on Wednesday (16 October) by the High Court bench led by Justice Farah Mahbub.
Previously, on Tuesday (15 October), the court postponed the submission of the investigation report for the 112th time.
A new date for submission has been set for 18 November by the Dhaka Additional Metropolitan Magistrate Mahbubul Haque.
