Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh Syed Ahmed Maroof held a meeting with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md Mahfuj Alam at the ministry on Wednesday (9 April) afternoon.
During the meeting, the high commissioner expressed interest in signing Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between Bangladesh Television (BTV) and Pakistan Television (PTV), as well as between Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) and the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).
The adviser, in turn, discussed the potential for broadcasting Bangladeshi television channels in Pakistan, seeking cooperation from the Pakistani authorities.
Also present at the meeting were Pakistan High Commission Press Counsellor Fasih Ullah and the adviser’s private secretary, Syed Enamul Kabir.
