Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) has arrested former commerce minister Tipu Munshi from Gulshan area of Dhaka on Wednesday (29 August) night.
The former minister was arrested in a case filed over the killing of a worker in Rangpur during the mass protests on 19 July, said elite force.
RAB's Legal and Media Wing Senior Assistant Director ANM Imran Khan confirmed the arrest to Bangladesh First.
