Four more cases were filed against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and three against Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan Shah Alam and Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir, on Wednesday (21 August).
Of the cases, three were lodged at Badda Police Station and one in Paltan Police Station, according to the duty officers.
Former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan, Salman F Rahman, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Dipu Moni were among the accused.
Besides, Mozammel Babu, managing director and editor-in-chief of Ekattor TV, was named as an accused in one of the cases.
Many named and unnamed people were also made accused in these cases.
