SolarPower Europe and Bangladesh Sustainable and Renewable Energy Association (BSREA) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate exchange of knowledge and technical expertise.
BSREA Chairman Mostafa Al Mahmud and Chief Operating Officer of SolarPower Europe signed the MoU on behalf of their respective sides.
Under-Secretary of State for International Trade, Finland Jarno Syrjälä and Ambassador of Sweden to Bangladesh Nicolas Weeks spoke on the occasion.
Mostafa Al Mahmud said this partnership marks a milestone for our renewable energy sector. It reflects our strong commitment to Bangladesh's national goals.
"BSREA is fully aligned with these aspirations, and we are determined to contribute meaningfully. We are opening a new chapter of cooperation,
innovation, and shared vision for a cleaner, greener and more sustainable Bangladesh," he added.
The BSREA Chairman said the MoU will promote capacity building and training for our local workforce and create new avenues for international investment and collaboration.
"We are proud to welcome SolarPower Europe as our strategic partner. Their global experience and technological excellence will be a tremendous asset as we work together to build a resilient and sustainable energy ecosystem in Bangladesh," he added.
