The completion parades for the trainee Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) of the 40th BCS (Police) batch and the 40th Cadet Sub-Inspectors (SIs) have been postponed.

Separate notifications were issued on Monday (18 November) regarding this by the Police Headquarters, with copies sent to the head of the Bangladesh Police Academy, Sardah, Rajshahi.

According to the notification signed by Additional DIG Mahiul Islam, currently, 66 trainee ASPs, including three from the 38th BCS (Police) batch and 63 from the 40th BCS (Police) batch, are undergoing a one-year foundational training at the Bangladesh Police Academy.

The parade, initially scheduled for 24 November, has been deferred due to unavoidable circumstances, with a new date and time to be communicated later. Training activities will continue as planned until further notice.

In a separate notice signed by Additional DIG Ms Shahela Parveen, the postponement of the 40th Cadet SIs' completion parade, originally scheduled for 26 November, was confirmed. This, too, was due to unavoidable reasons, with the new date and time to be announced subsequently. The training of the Cadet SIs will remain ongoing until the event is held.

The notifications also instructed necessary measures to ensure the continuity of training and arrangements for the completion ceremonies.
