The interim government’s election-focused journey is underway, said Law Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul.
"A search committee has been formed to organise the Election Commission," Dr Asif Nazrul said following a meeting with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk at the secretariat on Tuesday (29 October).
He hinted that the chief adviser may have already signed the official notification, which is expected to be issued either on Tuesday or Wednesday.
“Our election-focused journey has commenced. With the search committee established, we will proceed to form the Election Commission. Subsequently, the voter list will be revised," he added.
