At least three people were killed in a collision between a microbus and a CNG-driven autorickshaw in Kamarkhand, Sirajganj.
The incident occurred in the Kutirchar area of Bhadraghat Union on Sunday (8 September), said the Warehouse Inspector at Kamarkhand Fire Service Apu Kumar Mondol.
The identities of the deceased have not been confirmed yet, he added.
Witnesses said a microbus travelling from Naluka to Sirajganj collided head-on with an autorickshaw en route to Naluka. The collision resulted in the deaths of three passengers in the autorickshaw at the scene.
Upon receiving the news, authorities arrived at the location and recovered the bodies of the three deceased.
Local sources report that three additional passengers were injured and have been sent to hospital for treatment.
