The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast rain or thunder showers in various parts across the country over the next 72 hours, starting Thursday morning.
Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind are expected in a few places across the Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, and Sylhet divisions, and at one or two places across the Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions today (February 22), according to the met office.
Additionally, rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind are forcast for one or two places across the Chattogram and Sylhet divisions on Friday.
The weather may remain mainly dry with a partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, the met office added.
The Dhaka and Chattogram divisions are likely to experience rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind on Saturday.
