The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exams in Sylhet division will begin today (9 July) amidst the ongoing flood.
Earlier, the government suspended the HSC and equivalent exams due to flooding in the Sylhet Division.
The exam of Information and Communication Technology subject will be held on the first day of exams.
In a bid to ensure student security and convenience, Sylhet Metropolitan Police, (SMP), has restricted public access within 200 yards of the HSC examination centres in the city.
Besides, Sylhet police has imposed a ban on all public gatherings and processions around the 28 examination centres in the city and suburbs.
