Peyala Café, a concern of Bangladeshi conglomerate MGH Group, has been celebrating cuisines from various cultures around the world with its “Global Bites” series – bringing foreign flavours to Bangladesh.
The eatery started its campaign with Argentine food that has earned the seal of approval of Argentine Ambassador to Bangladesh Marcelo Carlos CESA as he inaugurated the first edition of the event, said a press release.
Ambassador Marcelo Carlos CESA along with his team, visited Peyala’s flagship outlet on Kemal Ataturk Avenue and enjoyed its take on Argentine cuisine recently.
The event highlighted the brand’s innovative concepts of Chimichurri Cheeseburgers, Churrasco Chicken Wraps and Bowls, Leo's Pulled Chicken named after the greatest footballer and Coconut Dulce de Leche Cake.
“It is truly special to savour the authentic flavours of our homeland here at Peyala. This establishment, a sister concern of MGH Group, stands out as the sole venue to commemorate our day with such creativity and significance," the envoy said.
The Argentine embassy personnel particularly appreciated the Empanadas and the Coconut Dulce de Leche.
“We are honoured to have hosted the ambassador and ecstatic that he enjoyed it. If last World Cup was any indication as to Bangladesh’s passion towards Argentina, we are just happy to help further fuel that through the channel of food and gastronomy,” Peyala Café Business Head Arsalan said.
Committed to a daily rotating menu that has offered different global flavours every day since 2016, Peyala ensures there are more editions to the Global Bites series coming soon.
The Argentinian edition was available at all Peyala stores till 12 June.
Currently, the eatery is offering "Euro Euphoria"– Milanese Fried Chicken Burger, Turkish Kofte Burger, French Onion Burger, and Spanish Croquette Burger.
