The government has appointed Major General Mohammad Hossain Al Morshed as the Director General of National Security Intelligence (NSI). He is from the 26th long course.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a circular in this regard on Tuesday (2 April).
He will replace Major General TM Jobaer, who has been serving as the NSI director general since 2018.
NSI operates under the direct supervision of the Prime Minister’s Office.
