The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has reduced the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by Tk 28 per 12-kg cylinder at the consumer level.
With this latest adjustment, the price of a 12-kg LPG cylinder has been set at Tk 1,450, down from the previous rate of Tk 1,478.
BERC announced the revised price on Sunday, stating that it will take effect from this evening.
The price reduction applies proportionally to all LPG cylinder sizes, ranging from 5.5 kg to 45 kg, ensuring a balanced adjustment for consumers across different segments.
