The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a man from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area in Dhaka on Monday for violating a minor girl.
The arrestee has been identified as Abdul Kuddus Maker, 47.
Kuddus raped an 11-year-old girl two times, taking advantage of her mother's absence in their rented house in the Shah Ali Bagh area on 23 December 2024.
The victim's aunt registered a case with Mirpur Model Police Station on 1 January against the alleged rapist and his wife as an abettor.
