Starting on 8 December, Royal Jordanian Airlines will begin offline ticket sales in Bangladesh through Simon Air Travels.
Although the specific date for the launch of direct flights is yet to be confirmed, the airline plans to commence operations by mid next year, said Afsiya Jannat Saleh, Managing Director of Simon Air Travels.
She said that the initial ticketing process will be offline, but the process will be on online platforms soon.

The last international airline to launch operations in Bangladesh was Ethiopian Airlines, Africa's leading carrier and a member of Star Alliance.
Ethiopian Airlines began its direct flights between Dhaka and Addis Ababa on 3 November, 2024.
This development reflects Bangladesh's growing importance as a hub for global travel and trade, creating new opportunities for passengers and businesses alike.
