BNP submits proposal to police reform commission

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has submitted its proposal to the Police Administration Reform Commission on Wednesday (5 December), said party sources.

SM Zahurul Islam, BNP Chairperson's advisory council member, presented the proposals, on behalf of the party, to police reform commission chairman Safar Raz Hossain at the International Mother Language Institute in the capital, said BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan.

BNP standing committee member Hafiz Uddin Ahmed is leading the committee formed by BNP for police admin reform.

The interim government has formed Police Administration Reform Commission for its future development.

The commission is supposed to submit its reform report to Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus by 31 December.
