A devastating fire broke out in a house within the Ashrayan Project, resulting in the deaths of six members of the same family, including two women.
The incident occurred late Monday night (1 October) in Seemerkhal village, located in Joyshree Union of the upazila, said Sunamganj Superintendent of Police AFM Anwar Hossain.
Victims have been identified as Emarul, his wife Poly Akter, and their four children—Palash, Farhad, Fatema Begum, and Omar Faruq.
