Bangladesh was one of the main subjects in India's discussions with Quad leaders at the recent Quad Summit held in the United States, Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said during a press briefing.

Misri explained that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi outlined India's views and commitments regarding global growth, development, peace, and security in both multilateral and bilateral talks with the Quad leaders.

In response to a question about whether Bangladesh was part of the discussions, Misri stated: "These discussions cover subjects relevant to the region. While they may hold bilateral significance for one party or another, their impact often extends beyond the region. In this context, Bangladesh was part of the discussions, and there was an exchange of views on the situation."
