One dengue patient died in the country during the last 24 hours till Monday (9 September) morning, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
A total of 615 dengue patient were admitted to different hospitals at the same time, it said.
“During the period, 312 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka city, while 303 were admitted to different hospitals outside the capital,” it added.
This year, the total number of cases rose to 16,285 while 97 deaths from dengue disease were reported during the period while the country recorded 1,705 dengue-related deaths and a total of 3,21,179 dengue cases in the last year.
