New District Commissioners (DCs) have been appointed across 25 districts in the country.
The announcement was made through a notification by the Ministry of Public Administration on Monday (9 September).
According to the notification, new DCs have been assigned to the following districts: Dhaka, Faridpur, Sylhet, Habiganj, Mymensingh, Sherpur, Kushtia, Jhinaidah, Magura, Rangpur, Gaibandha, Naogaon, Natore, Pabna, Bogura, Joypurhat, Cox's Bazar, Chattogram, Noakhali, Chandpur, Gazipur, Comilla, Moulvibazar, Khulna, and Gopalganj.
The notification states that this order, issued in the public interest, is to be implemented immediately.
