Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Saturday visited the National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital in Agargaon, Dhaka, to check on the condition of individuals critically injured during the student-led revolution in July-August.
At least eleven people, including eight students from various universities and colleges, have been receiving treatment at the hospital.
“He observed the condition of four students being treated in the Intensive Care Unit,” said Kazi Deen Mohammad, the hospital’s director. “All four had sustained bullet wounds to their heads. Fortunately, their conditions are improving,” he added.
Badrul Alam, the joint director of the institute, along with senior physicians, was present during the visit.
